Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care UK is seeking an NMC-registered Registered Nurse to join the Stockport Renal Dialysis Unit. This part-time role (23 hours/week) supports autonomous patient care for dialysis patients, with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio across 24 stations.

The post offers extensive training on an 8-week Fundamental Dialysis Programme and ongoing education opportunities, with a salary up to £35,000 pro-rata per annum and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NMC registration.
• Experience or exposure to renal dialysis is desirable.
• Ability to assess care needs and develop/evaluate dialysis care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assess care needs and develop/implement/evaluate dialysis care for CKD/AKI patients.
• Work with a 1:4 nurse to patient ratio across 24 haemodialysis stations.
• Provide holistic care while managing technical nursing tasks.
