Job summary

The Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust is welcoming an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in nephrology with a focus on Chronic Kidney Disease and vascular access. You will join our renal CNS team and contribute to high-quality care for renal patients across Cornwall, working both independently and as part of the nephrology group.

Based in Nephrology, you will support CKD patients, help develop renal CNS services, and deliver education on renal conditions within the organisation.

Qualifications

• NMC registration is required.
• Renal course or equivalent completed.
• Relevant experience in nephrology desirable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as an accountable CNS in nephrology including vascular access.
• Support and manage care for patients with Chronic Kidney Disease.
• Provide education on renal conditions within the organisation.
• Liaise with and work collaboratively with other CNS and multidisciplinary colleagues.
• Participate in service improvement, research, and clinical audit.
