A leading NHS Trust is looking for a motivated clinical research fellow to support NIHR portfolio trials in renal medicine. This is a one-year fixed-term position aimed at Nephrology trainees seeking hands-on experience in clinical trials, offering extensive training and the chance to contribute to landmark studies.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated clinical research fellow to support the delivery of NIHR portfolio trials in Renal medicine.
The position is available from August as a fixed-term 1-year post, working 5 days a week during normal hours. We are willing to provide training before the start date, which can be discussed.
Applicants must have NHS doctor experience, hold MRCP qualification, and demonstrate eligibility to work in the UK according to the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006, including GMC registration. This may involve entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
This role is suitable for Nephrology trainees seeking experience in Renal Research clinical trials and aiming to become sub-investigators on landmark studies. It is ideal for doctors with some clinical trial research experience or those wishing to gain such experience. This opportunity allows motivated individuals to join a progressive, dynamic service and contribute to NIHR portfolio research leadership.
You will receive training on ongoing studies, including their background, aims, methodology, and delivery metrics, gaining invaluable insight into clinical trial delivery.
