Job summary

DaVita UK is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker to assist in renal care teams, delivering compassionate patient support across our kidney care services in Hamilton. This part-time role offers flexibility around school runs, working 22.5 hours per week.

You will help keep clinical areas stocked, assist with admissions and discharges, promote cleanliness and safety, and communicate effectively with patients and staff while developing alongside a supportive team in a busy NHS-partnered environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 or any relevant education.
• Healthcare-related experience, preferably in Renal.
• Good communication skills and ability to adapt in a busy setting.

Responsibilities

• Keep the clinical areas fully supplied with necessary equipment.
• Assist with patient admissions and discharges.
• Promote cleanliness and safety in the clinical area.
• Promote and demonstrate effective communication with patients, users and providers.
• Undertake specific organisational and administrative duties as required.
