Experienced 3.5T Van Driver / Porter Removals

Location: Twickenham & Heathrow
Salary: From GBP30,000/year (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, fixed
Schedule: 5 day a week (7am starts, work every other Saturday)
Hours: Fixed salary covers up to 60 hrs/week average annually

About the Role

Driver Hire Twickenham & Heathrow are recruiting on behalf of our client, a fast-growing, customer-focused removals and storage company. We re looking for a skilled 3.5-tonne driver with removals and porter experience who takes pride in delivering excellent service.

This is a hands-on driving and portering role ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, teamwork, and being on the move.

What You'll Do

• Drive 3.5T vans to customer locations (local and long-distance)
• Load and unload household/business items safely and efficiently
• Be the friendly face of the company polite, punctual, and professional
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure team safety on-site
• Keep your van tidy, fuelled, and damage-free
• Follow customer instructions and keep them informed of progress

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the company positively with clients at all times
• Ensure your van is well-stocked and prepared for each job
• Communicate any issues or delays promptly to the office
• Use correct PPE and follow all H&S procedures
• Report any item damage immediately to the Move Manager

What We're Looking For

• Experienced in removals and porter work
• Full, clean UK driving licence (for 3.5T van)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Physically fit this is a manual role
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
