They are now seeking a driven and experienced Sales Consultant to join their growing team in Cambridge. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with removals or service-based sales experience looking to step into a role that combines both field and office-based sales.

The Role

As Sales Consultant, you’ll be responsible for winning new business and managing the customer journey from enquiry through to move day. You will:

  1. Conduct customer surveys via home visits, video, and phone
  2. Prepare accurate quotes based on client needs and job specifics
  3. Identify customer buying criteria and tailor proposals accordingly
  4. Follow up on all quotes and close sales opportunities
  5. Support customers with insurance options and added-value services
  6. Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth move execution
  7. Help refine and improve the sales process alongside the Group Manager
About You

We’re looking for a proactive and personable individual who can build rapport quickly and consistently deliver on targets.

You’ll need:

  1. Previous experience in sales (removals industry preferred)
  2. Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  3. A consultative, customer-first approach
  4. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  5. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  6. Commercial awareness and the ability to spot upsell opportunities
  7. Confidence using CRM systems and quoting tools
