Job description

We are currently working with a family-run business specializing in international removals. They are seeking a Removals Account Manager for their team based in Surrey.

As a Removals Account Manager, you will be the main point of contact for your clients, providing first-class customer service. Your typical day will involve liaising with overseas partners, quoting new enquiries, updating existing enquiries, scheduling in-home or virtual surveys, and handling booked moves.

Removals Account Manager duties include:

  • Providing excellent customer service.
  • Liaising with overseas partners for rate requests.
  • Quoting all new online enquiries and updating existing enquiries.
  • Scheduling in-home or virtual surveys to facilitate accurate move planning and cost estimations.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for your clients.
  • Following up on quoted moves based on move date, using various platforms to reach clients.
  • Staying updated on customs requirements.
  • Handing over booked moves.

We are keen to speak with customer service professionals who possess excellent social, literacy, and numeracy skills, and who can communicate clearly and build good relationships with clients, colleagues, and third-party partners.

Experience in the Removals industry is advantageous but not essential; a strong background in customer service is the main requirement.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 8:45 am to 5:00 pm.

The successful candidate will be offered a salary in the region of £26,000 plus commission.
