Job summary

Xcede Recruitment Solutions is looking for an experienced Security Analyst for a 6-month contract that is fully remote. The successful candidate will support a significant technology transformation programme while maintaining effective security visibility during infrastructure migrations.

The role involves monitoring network traffic, configuring Splunk, and working closely with engineering and cyber teams to ensure secure delivery throughout the programme.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Security Operations or Cyber Security.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk and log forwarding.
• Strong analytical skills using SPL, KQL and/or SQL.

Responsibilities

• Discover and assess existing log sources and security monitoring requirements.
• Support the implementation and configuration of Splunk.
• Monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized data movement.
