Job summary

Kinisla is seeking an experienced Payroll Professional to govern in-house and outsourced UK payroll across weekly and monthly cycles. The role reports to the HR Director and is home-based with travel to UK, NI, and Southern Ireland sites as required.

You will drive payroll governance, data integrity, and continuous improvement while coordinating with SAP MySuccess and UKG/Kronos, and managing vendor relationships to ensure timely, compliant payroll delivery.

Qualifications

• Qualified in payroll with at least 5 years' UK payroll experience.
• Experience with SAP MySuccess, UKG/Kronos Time & Attendance, and ResourceLink.
• Strong Excel data analysis and reconciliation skills.
• Experience with weekly and monthly payroll cycles and managing outsourced payroll providers.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact for in-house time and attendance and outsourced payroll provider.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll delivery for weekly and monthly payrolls.
• Review and validate payroll outputs prior to approval and sign-off.
• Ensure compliance with UK statutory payroll legislation (PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP, pensions, RTI).
• Manage payroll calendar, inputs, and deadlines with internal stakeholders and providers.
• Perform payroll validation and reconciliation (e.g. variance analysis, gross-to-net checks).
• Ensure accurate data flow between SAP (MySuccess), UKG/Kronos and payroll provider.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, queries, and escalations.
