Experis - ManpowerGroup is seeking a Defect Manager/Quality Test Engineer for a confidential MOD CDS project. The role is remote UK with requirement for resilience and strong collaboration across stakeholders.

You will own the defect lifecycle, coordinate release activities, and drive high-quality testing outcomes in a security-cleared environment. The role emphasizes data-driven defect reporting, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience in defect management and quality engineering.
• Proven ability to manage full defect lifecycle in a structured delivery environment.
• Strong reporting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end defect lifecycle from logging to closure.
• Triage, track, progress, and escalate defects across teams.
• Maintain defect records, status, and evidence with clear reports.
• Produce defect metrics and trend updates for stakeholders.
• Coordinate with development and delivery teams for timely resolution.
• Support non-functional testing and track defects across test cycles.
