This is not a typical Travel Sales or BDM role. You will leverage your travel knowledge and sales skills to coach our Travel Consultants—helping them increase sales, utilize marketing effectively, and receive strategic business coaching rather than direct selling.

The Business Development Manager Role:

You will wear many hats, including:

  • Master Mentor: Leading and coaching a team of 60-80 Travel Consultants
  • Clever Coach: Guiding TCs on suppliers, technology, and confidence building
  • Business Advisor: Spotting opportunities and teaching TCs to do the same
  • Savvy Sales Person: Teaching closing skills and profitability
  • Creative Communicator: Explaining complex issues simply and positively
  • Magical Marketeer: Collaborating with marketing to equip TCs
  • Customer Service Guru: Ensuring excellent client experiences
  • Data Analyst: Tracking performance and providing feedback

About You:

  • Proven coaching and mentoring ability
  • Sales targets experience in travel

  • Leadership experience in sales management

  • Familiarity with technology and social media
  • Basic marketing understanding

  • Professional coaching qualification (e.g., ILM Level 5)
