Job summary

Experis is seeking an Infrastructure Architect for a major transformation programme. The role is remote with rare travel to London or Manchester, and PAYE via Umbrella.

You will define and assure future-state infrastructure, align services and platforms, and collaborate across multiple teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive enterprise experience, strong cloud knowledge, and a proven ability to design migration roadmaps and manage complex supplier

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as an Infrastructure Architect in complex enterprise environments.
• Proven track record in large-scale transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Experience developing migration and transformation roadmaps.
• Experience with infrastructure consolidation and platform rationalisation.
• Knowledge of resiliency, DR, high availability, and BC principles.
• Ability to evaluate technical solutions against business requirements and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the infrastructure architecture strategy for the TOM.
• Define future-state infrastructure across cloud, hosting, networking, and platforms.
• Ensure architecture aligns with enterprise principles, objectives and outcomes.
• Support transformation and migration activities across multiple organisations.
• Collaborate with programme teams to integrate organisations into the target environment.
• Assess current infra and identify opportunities for consolidation and optimisation.
• Produce high-level and detailed infrastructure designs and reference architectures.
• Review designs, suppliers, and partners for security, availability and performance.
• Define requirements for hosting, connectivity and workplace technology.
• Define cloud adoption strategies and modernisation opportunities.
• Embed secure-by-design principles and support risk assessments.
