Job summary

Reed is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead a portfolio of Microsoft and infrastructure transformation projects within a large and complex environment. The role requires 1–2 days per week in Southampton and the rest remote.

You will drive technical teams, suppliers and stakeholders to successful outcomes, proactively manage risks and dependencies, and ensure delivery remains on track across multiple workstreams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex Microsoft, cloud or infrastructure transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft Intune and Microsoft 365.
• Experience delivering migration, consolidation and service transition programmes.
• Experience managing third-party suppliers and technical delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex technical projects from initiation through to successful delivery.
• Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, governance packs and reporting.
• Coordinate multiple technical workstreams and project dependencies.
• Drive delivery progress and hold teams accountable for milestones.
• Manage third-party suppliers, partners and internal delivery teams.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues and blockers proactively.
• Deliver clear communication and reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Chair project boards, steering groups and technical workshops.
• Ensure operational readiness and a smooth transition into BAU support.
• Support decision-making through timely escalation and recommendations.
