• Proven experience producing technical architecture designs.
• Strong compute, networking, storage, virtualization, and cloud knowledge.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience in UK public sector environments valued.

Responsibilities

• Producing technical architecture designs for corporate platforms and customer solutions across on-premise, data centre, and public cloud environments.
• Evaluating architecture options and making evidence-based recommendations balancing functional and non-functional requirements.
• Working with delivery teams to support implementation with hands-on guidance.
• Participating in architecture peer reviews to maintain high design quality.
• Presenting designs to the Technical Assurance Board and supporting assurance discussions.
• Contributing to technology roadmaps and investigating new and existing technologies for controlled adoption.
• Collaborating with Security Architects to ensure protection for workloads.
• Maintaining awareness of emerging technologies, platforms, and industry trends relevant to NEC’s services and customers.
