Job summary

Areti Group | B Corp™ is seeking a Tech Lead – Integrations to own and scale a critical data-Integration platform. You will stay hands-on while guiding a small team of engineers and defining architectural direction for API-driven services.

You will work on high-throughput, distributed systems handling thousands of requests per minute, across core products and third-party integrations, with a focus on performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience as Tech Lead / Senior Software Engineer or similar leadership role.
• Strong experience building API-driven backend systems.
• Passion for remaining hands-on whilst leading a team.
• Excellent understanding of scalable architecture and OO design.
• Experience working across production full-stack applications.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of engineers (~4) and mentor them.
• Remain hands-on with development (about 70% coding).
• Own the technical direction and architecture of the integrations platform.
• Design and build scalable API-driven backend services.
• Make architectural decisions around scalability, reliability and maintainability.
• Drive engineering best practices through code reviews, testing and automation.
• Act as the technical escalation point within the squad.
• Collaborate with Product and QA to deliver high-quality software.
• Support hiring, onboarding and growth of the team.
