I am currently representing a leading tax disputes firm based in London, which is seeking an experienced tax disputes and investigations manager to make a significant impact. This role involves working on both direct and indirect taxes, handling complex tax investigations, and managing a diverse range of tax enquiries. The role:
  1. Preparing and reviewing tax disclosure reports
  2. Leading complex tax investigations from start to finish
  3. Handling a wide range of tax enquiries
  4. Managing critical investigations, including code of practice 9 and CDF investigations
  5. Preparing comprehensive and detailed disclosure reports
  6. Meeting clients and liaising with HMRC inspectors
  7. Mentoring and training junior team members
  8. Applying analytical and spreadsheet skills to support reporting and investigations
What you need:
  1. Significant experience working on complex tax investigations
  2. Experience managing code of practice 9 and CDF investigations
  3. Extensive experience in preparing disclosure reports
  4. Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills
  5. Good communication skills
  6. A good understanding of a broad range of tax matters
