Job summary

Pearson, the world's leading learning company, is seeking a T Level Examiner. This contract role can be undertaken alongside other commitments, with marking from home or via on-site options.

Responsibilities include marking Core Papers and Employer Set Project, and adhering to standardisation and examination procedures. Applicants should have at least one year of teaching or occupational experience in Construction within the last eight years and a relevant degree or professional qualification;

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year teaching and assessment experience within last 8 years or one year full-time occupational experience in Construction at Level 3
• Degree or equivalent work-based qualification such as Level 5/6/7 NVQ in Construction or membership of CIOB/CIBSE/ICE/BIAT/RICS
• Recent occupational experience in listed construction-related roles (Architect, Surveyor, Engineer, Planner, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Mark accurately and consistently to maintain standards
• Submit samples to Team Leader at designated times
• Meet marking milestones and adhere to administration requirements
• Attend standardisation sessions
• Regularly mark scripts during Summer/Autumn series
