Job summary

Pearson is seeking T Level Accounting Examiners to mark candidate responses in line with the official mark scheme. Examiners may work from home using electronic marking (ePEN) or via traditional paper scripts sent by post. Some travel for training and standardisation may be required.

The role offers flexible contracting alongside other commitments and requires solid subject knowledge in accounting and finance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year's teaching and assessment experience or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Business at Level 3.
• Degree or equivalent qualification such as Level 5/6/7 NVQ in Accounting/Finance/Business.
• Be fully conversant with the T Level Accountancy specification and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Mark candidate responses to a defined mark scheme.
• Submit samples to Team Leader at designated times.
• Meet marking milestones and deadlines.
• Complete all required administration as specified.
• Attend standardisation sessions.
• Regularly mark scripts during Summer/Autumn Series.
