Job summary

Linklaters is seeking an experienced Paralegal/Support Lawyer to join the Structured Finance Group. The role involves supporting a broad range of structured and leveraged finance transactions, working with lawyers, clients, financial institutions and advisers to deliver deals efficiently and to tight deadlines.

Flexibility to work outside UK business hours and across Asia-Pacific time zones is important, given the international nature of the practice.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting complex financing transactions, including structured and leveraged finance.
• Strong understanding of transaction lifecycles, legal documentation and deal execution.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of structured finance and leveraged finance transactions from signing through to closing.
• Assist with preparation, review and management of transaction documentation.
• Coordinate transaction processes and manage workstreams across multiple stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain transaction checklists and closing agendas.
• Manage signing and closing processes and ensure milestones are met.
• Liaise with clients, lenders, borrowers, trustees and advisers to progress transactions.
• Monitor timetables and escalate issues affecting deadlines.
• Maintain transaction records and provide status updates to lawyers.
