Job summary

DataCareers is seeking a Structural Engineer to join a fast-paced UK team focused on abnormal load transportation and installation solutions. The role involves diverse projects across the country and remote collaboration options.

You will review designs, perform structural analyses, and develop modifications with detailed manufacturing drawings, while supporting estimation efforts to win projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Professional qualification (Incorporated/Chartered) or working towards it.
• Minimum 3 years of experience, mix of site and design office exposure, Temporary Works Design.

Responsibilities

• Review and check temporary structure designs, calculations, drawings, and certificates.
• Conduct structural analysis of existing equipment to ensure safety and design standards.
• Design modifications and develop new designs as required.
• Produce detailed drawings suitable for manufacturing.
• Assist with estimating by providing pricing information.
