Job summary

Spectrum.Life is seeking experienced, accredited SpLD Assessors to join our growing network of associate clinicians. You will deliver high-quality SpLD assessments for university students, remotely via MS Teams, on a flexible self-employed basis.

You will hold Level 7 SpLD qualification, APC/BDA/PATOSS accreditation, and have 3+ years’ experience with adult and/or HE assessments, adhering to SASC standards and GDPR. Fully remote, with flexible referrals and independent caseload management.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering SpLD assessments to adults and/or university students.
• Strong written reports in line with SASC standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, clinically robust SpLD assessments for university students across confirmed assessment types in line with SASC standards and accrediting body.
• Review pre-assessment questionnaires and information sharing agreements prior to each assessment day.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments using approved test batteries and standardised tools.
• Synthesize test data with clinical evidence and consider alternative explanations for difficulties.
• Provide verbal feedback to students at the end of each session.
