Job summary

Skiller Whale is seeking experienced software engineering coaches to lead 60–90 minute remote micro-workshops for groups of engineers. You will bring deep expertise in Python and Java, pair programming style, and live-debugging of code, all through our platform.

Sessions are 1.5–6 hours per week with flexible scheduling and high-quality teaching materials. You must explain concepts clearly in English, share real‑world examples, and adapt to varying learner levels.

Qualifications

• Extensive real-world software engineering experience in multiple languages.
• Experience teaching or mentoring software engineers.
• Ability to explain complex topics clearly in English.
• Comfort with code reviews and live debugging sessions.
• Proven ability to discuss software architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead short 60–90 minute micro-workshops for small groups.
• Teach senior and junior engineers via the Skiller Whale platform.
• Provide nuanced answers with practical, example-based explanations.
• Collaborate with teams to tailor content to learners’ needs.
• Maintain engaging and disciplined teaching style.
