Job summary

Olo is hiring a Software Engineer II for the In-Store team, focused on POS integrations and reliability within the Olo ecosystem. This fully remote role supports a Belfast NI hub and an experienced squad of 8 engineers led by an Engineering Manager.

You will work with .NET/C#, Kafka, AWS, Kubernetes/EKS and CI/CD tools, contributing to scalable integrations and robust production systems. Join us to build fluid, reliable guest experiences across channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/engineering.

Responsibilities

• Deliver small-to-medium features independently, with some initial guidance.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to drive requirements.
• Write code with testability, readability, and maintainability in mind.
• Troubleshoot and participate in incident management to improve reliability.
• Learn new technologies and how they apply to current projects.
• Leverage AI tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to boost coding efficiency.
• Contribute to team documentation and provide feedback during estimations.
