Job summary

Preferred is a cybersecurity/SecOps background. Candidates should have 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience across backend, full-stack, infrastructure, or systems work and be comfortable

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Experience with backend or full-stack environments (Python, JS/TS, Node.js, Java, C++, Go, or Rust).
• Experience building and reviewing production-grade APIs, services, and databases.
• Strong debugging, testing, and code-quality practices.
• Ability to explain complex engineering decisions clearly.
• Comfortable reading unfamiliar code and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Tackle backend, full-stack, infrastructure, and systems tasks.
• Review, debug, and explain code across environments.
• Design or evaluate APIs, databases, services, integrations, testing, and deployments.
• Weigh tradeoffs in scalability, reliability, security, and DX.
• Communicate technical reasoning in writing.
• Collaborate with customer teams on reviews and decisions.
• Adapt quickly to new codebases and frameworks.
