Job summary

BBS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Service Designer for the CAST Programme in Lambeth, London. You will support service improvement across priority areas, focusing on customer journeys, operational processes and efficiency.

The role requires mapping, workshop facilitation, and translating findings into practical improvements that reduce demand and cost. 2 days in office, 3 days remote, interim assignment with stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in service design, business analysis or process improvement.
• Experience mapping customer journeys, processes, workflows and hand-offs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to turn complex information into clear, practical recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Work with priority service areas to understand customer journeys, processes and pain points.
• Map as-is and to-be customer journeys and processes.
• Identify avoidable demand, rework, delays and hand-offs.
• Translate findings into clear actions and measurable benefits.
• Support the delivery plan and benefits tracking.
