Job summary

Amber Labs is seeking Senior/Lead Technical Architects to join a major government transformation programme focused on assessment, remediation and modernisation of a complex Oracle estate. You’ll define future‑state architecture, migrate strategies, and provide architectural leadership across application, integration, database, infrastructure and cloud domains.

You will assess legacy environments, produce architecture artefacts, and shape long‑term roadmaps while collaborating with governance

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Technical/Enterprise Architect in complex environments.
• Strong Oracle EBS architecture and implementation experience.
• Experience with Oracle SOA and Oracle Fusion/OCI integration.
• Strong AWS architecture and cloud design experience.
• Ability to model current and future state architectures and roadmaps.
• Excellent stakeholder management and governance approach.

Responsibilities

• Review and shape current-state architecture baselines across domains.
• Define future-state architectures and platform strategies.
• Assess upgrade, remediation and migration options for legacy systems.
• Develop architecture artefacts, HLDs and LLDs for governance.
• Lead architecture workstreams and provide technical leadership.
• Mentor architects and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Present solutions at Design Authority and governance forums.
• Contribute to enterprise‑scale migration and transformation programmes.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, DBA, delivery and business teams.
