Job summary

Process Street is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect and evolve an AI-native SaaS platform. You will work remotely across time zones, designing scalable backend systems, APIs, and AI-assisted services while shaping frontend work with modern tools.

The role emphasizes collaboration with AI and autonomy to improve velocity and product quality. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience, strong backend skills, SaaS experience, and familiarity with AI coding tools.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with backend systems (Scala / Java / Ruby / C#).
• Experience building and scaling SaaS products.
• Deep familiarity with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex).
• Strong systems design skills beyond coding.

Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve backend systems (Scala / Play / Postgres / AWS).
• Design and deploy scalable APIs and AI-assisted services.
• Own feature development from ideation to production.
• Build frontend features using React, Chakra, Storybook, and modern state tools.
• Use Claude Code / Codex to accelerate development across multiple sessions.
• Create internal tooling and engineering systems that improve velocity and code quality.
• Optimize performance across frontend, backend, and AI pipelines.
• Eventually lead a small team (2–3 engineers).
