Job summary

Premier Research is seeking a Senior Project Finance Analyst to support the Clinical R&D-Finance team from a remote UK location. The role focuses on contract revenue, invoicing, and project profitability analysis for biotech, medtech, and pharma clients.

You will review contracts, monitor budgets, calculate monthly revenue, and help project managers with financial reporting. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 5+ years in accounting or finance within a CRO.
• Experience with a revenue recognition system.
• Highly detail oriented with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review contract payment schedules and prepare monthly fee-for-service and pass-through invoices.
• Analyze contracts for budget, hours, and setup in financial systems.
• Calculate monthly contract revenue for assigned projects.
• Assist Project Managers with monthly reports to track profitability.
• Attend project-related meetings and support the team with analyses.
• Calculate monthly backlog for assigned projects.
• Analyze change orders for incorporation and cash flow impact.
• Prepare cash flow and payment schedule analyses.
