Job summary

Olo is hiring a Senior Mobile Software Engineer (iOS) for the Olo App, fully remote within the UK. You will shape next-gen features for our iOS codebase, collaborate with Android counterparts, and own critical mobile components from concept to delivery.

We value 5+ years of mobile experience, strong Swift expertise, and a track record in CI/CD with GitHub Actions. You’ll mentor peers, improve code quality, and help scale our mobile platform while aligning with business goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, native mobile development.
• Advanced proficiency in iOS development using Swift and designing/implementing complex algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, ideally GitHub Actions.
• Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, with automation emphasis.
• Leadership skills: mentoring peers, leading technical discussions, collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Mentor engineers and participate in technical decision-making.
• Address technical debt while delivering features and improvements.
• Own complex features from concept to delivery.
• Lead code reviews and set quality standards across the team.
• Partner with Product to refine requirements and ensure well-architected solutions.
• Improve performance, resilience, and deployment processes in production.
• Contribute to architecture and design of distributed systems.
• Share knowledge and lead learning sessions.
• Incorporate Claude Code into daily workflows to enhance AI-assisted coding.
