CAST AI is hiring a backend engineer to design, build, and operate Go services powering authentication, billing, and trust-critical workflows. You will own features end-to-end—from design to testing and production rollout—while collaborating with product and other engineering teams to tackle problems without textbook solutions.

Ideal candidates have strong programming fundamentals, experience under high load, and familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud providers, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production systems.
• Strong English communication, written and verbal.
• Production experience with Go is preferred; other systems languages acceptable.
• Experience operating systems under high load and optimizing performance.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and operate backend services in Go used by multiple teams.
• Own features end-to-end from design through testing to production rollout.
• Debug complex production issues involving security, billing, or trust-critical flows.
• Collaborate with product and other engineering teams to solve non-textbook problems.
• Contribute to product direction and backlog planning.
