Job summary

Pearson Carter Limited is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for a fully remote role in the UK. You will develop across web, desktop, and cloud solutions, with a focus on React-based editor work and scalable backend services.

Ideal candidates will have strong React/Node.js experience, exposure to AI technologies, and familiarity with Dagger/AI tooling, LangChain and RAG patterns. A collaborative, agile team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Strong React and Node.js experience in commercial apps.
• Exposure to AI technologies including LLMs and AI APIs.
• Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and LangChain.
• Proficient in Python.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/SQLite).
• Knowledge of ORMs, TypeORM preferred.
• Experience with AWS, Docker and containerisation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance features across core platform and React-based editor for web, desktop, and cloud apps.
• Build scalable solutions with React and Node.js.
• Ensure well-structured, tested, maintainable code.
• Collaborate with designers, Unity developers and engineers.
• Participate in Agile planning, sprint reviews and product discovery.
• Document technical decisions and influence system architecture.
• Troubleshoot defects and improve cloud API performance.
• Support secure, high-performing applications and ecosystem.
