Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer for a remote-first role with a leading international engineering firm. You will lead site development, drainage, and utility design, coordinating with global teams and clients to deliver projects across geographies.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree with 8+ years of design experience and is proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. PE license is highly preferred; strong remote communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional registration (PE license) is highly preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive civil design experience.
• Proven experience with site development, drainage and utility design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for site development projects including grading, drainage, and utilities.
• Prepare detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications using industry-standard software.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and design reports.
• Collaborate with remote project managers, engineers, architects, and clients.
• Ensure designs meet local, regional, and international codes and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and review junior engineers’ work.
• Manage design tasks to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Stay informed on new tech and best practices in civil engineering.
• Participate in virtual design reviews and project coordination meetings.
