Job summary

Placements24 is assisting a prominent architectural firm in Eastern Cape to recruit a Senior Architectural Technologist for a fully remote role. You will translate concepts into buildable technical drawings, construction documents, and specifications for residential projects, from single homes to multi-unit developments.

The ideal candidate has a National Diploma or BTech in Architectural Technology, SACAP registration, at least seven years of experience, and expert Revit BIM skills.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology.
• SACAP registration as Architectural Technologist is mandatory.
• 7+ years of experience in residential architectural technology.
• Expert proficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of detailed technical drawings and building documentation for residential projects.
• Ensure designs comply with NBR, SANS 10400, and relevant legislation.
• Coordinate designs with architects, engineers, and other consultants.
• Mentor junior technologists and monitor quality across deliverables.
• Support remote collaboration and project communication.
