Just Mortgages SE Group is seeking a remote, self-employed Mortgage Adviser to deliver mortgage and protection advice with a client-focused approach.

The role involves managing client relationships, conducting fact-finds, preparing applications, and liaising with lenders while maintaining regulatory compliance. It also requires proactive business development and collaboration with a dedicated Business Manager to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Strong advisory and client relationship skills with ability to build trust and deliver needs-based mortgage and protection advice.
• Solid business development and networking capabilities to generate leads and grow a client portfolio.
• High level of organisation, time management, and attention to detail to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
• Good analytical and numerical skills to assess affordability and explain information clearly.
• Comfort with digital tools, CRM systems, online platforms, and basic marketing use.
• Must have a relevant mortgage advice qualification (CeMAP or equivalent) and UK regulatory knowledge.
• Previous mortgage adviser experience is beneficial.
• Self-motivated and commercially aware in a self-employed environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive mortgage and protection advice aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Manage new and existing client relationships and conduct fact-finds.
• Prepare applications and liaise with lenders and other parties with accurate documentation.
• Engage in proactive business development: networking, following up leads, and leveraging marketing support.
• Operate your own business with professionalism and collaborate with your Business Manager to set growth targets.
