Job summary

Diamond Blaque HR Solutions is seeking an HR Advisor to provide practical, policy-based advice to maintained schools. You will act as the first point of contact and guide managers through employee relations and organisational development matters, including collaboration with HR and OD colleagues.

The role fits a flexible arrangement with two days on-site minimum and the option to work remotely with occasional school travel.

Qualifications

• Experience providing HR/OD advice to managers.
• Experience handling employee relations casework end-to-end.
• Knowledge of employment legislation and HR policies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel within/outside the area when required.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted first point of contact for schools, delivering responsive HR advice.
• Coach managers through options, risks and next steps to take confident action.
• Support a varied caseload covering employee relations and organisational design.
• Collaborate with HR and support services to deliver joined-up advice and outcomes.
• Prepare information and guidance for trade union forums as needed.
• Help develop people leaders through working with HR/OD colleagues on change.
