Job summary

Interface Recruitment is assisting a UK organisation in the pharmaceutical manufacturing and regulated distribution sector to appoint an SAP ABAP Developer (ECC/S/4HANA). The role is remote with 30 days holiday, performance bonus, and ongoing certification support.

You’ll work on ABAP development, CDS views, OData services, and integration patterns across MM/SD/PP/WM modules, delivering robust, testable solutions in a compliant landscape.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience as SAP ABAP Developer in enterprise SAP environments.
• Ability to design robust technical solutions with clean code and proper documentation.
• Experience in delivering enhancements and integrations across MM/SD/PP/WM modules.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and enhance ABAP solutions using ABAP OO and clean architecture.
• Develop CDS Views and AMDP where appropriate; optimize performance.
• Create integration services and APIs using OData, SAP Gateway, RFC/BAPI, IDoc patterns.
• Ensure releases follow transport discipline, documentation, and testing evidence.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform debugging and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate requirements into technical designs.
