IKEA Sheffield Remote Customer Meeting Point recherche un Remote Sales Advisor pour un rôle qui mélange travail à domicile et en magasin. IKEA Sheffield Remote Customer Meeting Point are looking to welcome a Remote Sales Advisors to join our team. This role is a mix of home & in-office working, with 1 day a week working within IKEA Sheffield Remote Customer Meeting Point. Co-workers must reside within 1 hour commute of IKEA Sheffield Unit as part of location principles.

WHAT WE OFFER

• The Start Date of employment will be: 14th September 2025
• Hourly rate of £12.60 per hour.
• 39 Hours per week 5 days per week, shifts between 7.00am - 8.15pm hours will support the needs of the business. Availability to work weekends, early mornings, and evenings as part of a rotating schedule.
• Training will take place in IKEA Sheffield Remote Customer Meeting Point.
• Requires 1 day per week in Sheffield office.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

• Previous experience in sales or customer support.
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to thrive independently.
• Proficiency in using multiple IT systems and digital tools.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to engage customers in a remote sales environment.
• Adaptable and flexible mindset to thrive in a dynamic environment, taking on varied roles and responsibilities each day.
• Flexibility to work in a setting where each day presents unique challenges.
• Private, confidential home workspace – A dedicated area designed for focused, secure work, ensuring privacy for sensitive tasks and conversations.
• Strong numeracy skills with the ability to take accurate measurements.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• Provide quality customer support in a remote environment to secure a great customer experience via phone, webchat or video depending on the nature of the query.
• Working in line with a call centre environment and routine within your home e.g scheduled breaks, back to back calls, planning appointments and chat along with scheduled team meetings.
• Enhance sales by demonstrating a commercial mindset and true salesmanship with every customer contact to offer complete home furnishing solutions.
• Use planning tools, Microsoft office, the internet and relevant programmes to support selling to the customer.
• Use remote active selling techniques during customer contact.
• Stay updated on IKEA products, services, commercial priorities and activities to steer sales.
• Capture relevant customer insights to improve the IKEA customer experience.
