Job summary

NATS is seeking a safety assurance leader to drive the delivery of safety and assurance activities for project changes, ensuring changes are safely implemented into service. You will lead, coordinate and evidence assurance across systems, human factors and cyber security, working with design authorities and senior stakeholders.

The role requires knowledge of safety management, risk analysis and change assurance, with opportunities for agile and flexible working arrangements within the UK.

Qualifications

• The candidate should hold a STEM or assurance-related degree or equivalent experience in safety-related systems.
• Experience delivering safety/assurance for changes in complex operations and projects.
• Ability to develop justification arguments and assurance documentation for change.

Responsibilities

• Generate and prepare Safety & Assurance plans and evidence for Change Assurance.
• Lead workshops with SMEs to elicit safety hazards and requirements.
• Ensure assurance activities comply with Business and Safety Management Systems.
• Coach and develop assurance team members; manage workload and risks.
