Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Risk & Governance Manager to lead and develop risk, compliance, governance and complaints functions. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure robust governance frameworks, effective regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

The role focuses on managing risk registers, investigations into complaints, and promoting a proactive risk-aware culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in Risk, Governance, Compliance, Quality or Assurance roles.
• Experience developing and managing risk frameworks and risk registers.
• Experience handling complex complaints or investigations.
• Strong knowledge of governance, compliance, risk and assurance principles.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Influence stakeholders and drive positive change.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the organisation's risk management framework.
• Manage corporate and operational risk registers.
• Support teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
• Monitor emerging risks, incidents, trends, and areas of concern.
• Ensure learning from incidents and reviews is embedded into practice.
• Produce risk reports and assurance information for senior stakeholders.
• Support compliance with regulatory, contractual, and legal requirements.
• Monitor changes in legislation and industry best practice.
• Provide guidance on governance, risk, and compliance matters.
• Maintain governance controls and assurance processes.
• Support audits, reviews, and compliance assessments.
• Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
