Job summary

Mercor seeks a Generalist Search Expert for a remote contract role. You will conduct precise information retrieval across webpages and collaborate with researchers across History, Philosophy, Linguistics, Sociology, Political Science, Economics, Fine Arts, Media, and Literature.

You will develop strategies to improve AI-generated content and provide feedback to training data. The role requires a PhD or equivalent experience in relevant fields and offers flexible, asynchronous work with deadlines

Qualifications

PhD or equivalent experience in History, Philosophy, Linguistics, Sociology, Political Science, Economics, Fine Arts, Media, or Literature.
Demonstrated expertise across the listed disciplines.

Responsibilities

Conduct precise information retrieval across many webpages to ensure high precision and recall.
Collaborate with researchers and subject matter experts in History, Philosophy, Linguistics, Sociology, Political Science, Economics, Fine Arts, Media, and Literature.
Develop strategies to enhance the accuracy and depth of AI-generated content.
Provide structured feedback to improve training data quality and model performance.
Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve AI model performance.
