Synthires is seeking PhD-qualified engineers or PhD candidates in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Aerospace engineering for a short-term technical evaluation pilot. You will create advanced engineering problems, provide detailed solutions, and establish objective grading criteria to evaluate AI systems’ reasoning.

Formación

• PhD or PhD candidacy in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial or Aerospace Engineering.
• Hands-on research or professional engineering experience.
• Ability to develop technical problems based on work personally performed or experienced.
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to produce accurate engineering solutions and explain the reasoning.
• Ability to define objective correctness criteria for independent verification.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to identify inaccuracies.

Responsabilidades

• Design advanced engineering problems based on real-world research and workflows within your specialization.
• Develop realistic problem scenarios with constraints, assumptions, specs and data.
• Provide technically accurate solutions with detailed step-by-step explanations of analyses.
• Establish objective evaluation criteria, rubrics and correctness standards for independent verification.
• Explain the technical reasoning behind each solution, including calculations and principles.
• Review problems developed by others for accuracy and practical relevance.
• Flag ambiguous or incomplete problems for clarification.
• Ensure all problem statements and data are clear and defensible.
• Apply hands-on research and professional experience to create meaningful challenges.
