Job summary

Binance, a leading global blockchain ecosystem, seeks a Senior Legal Counsel to manage regulatory litigation and US regulator engagements. You will guide AML/sanctions programs and coordinate with cross-functional teams on sensitive matters.

Strong independence and project-management skills are essential. Requirements include 5–8 years in private practice or in-house, with financial services regulatory exposure; crypto industry familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years’ private practice or in-house experience in financial services regulatory matters or litigation.
• Knowledge of U.S. AML and sanctions compliance programs.
• Familiarity with U.S. financial products and crypto industry.
• Excellent analytical and risk assessment skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage cross-functional projects.
• Experience with internal remediation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Legal Department and management on regulatory litigation matters with U.S. agencies.
• Support response to investigations, enforcement actions, and compliance reviews (AML/sanctions).
• Provide guidance to cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with legal obligations.
• Support regulatory filings, investigations, and remediation efforts as needed.
