Job summary

Barclays is hiring a Red Team Operator to join a skilled, close-knit team that conducts full-scope Red Team operations—cyber, physical, social engineering, and more—to emulate real-world adversaries and identify gaps in defences. In this hands-on role, you’ll work with a shell, a payload, and a target, researching new tradecraft and collaborating with talented operators.

You will participate in designing phishing campaigns, operating C2 frameworks, and developing tooling to mimic threat actors

Qualifications

• Hands-on Red Team operation experience across cyber, physical, social engineering, and process surfaces.
• Proficiency in at least one coding language.
• Strong ability to research and develop new tradecraft and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Take part in full-scope Red Team engagements with clearly defined adversarial objectives.
• Design and deliver phishing and social engineering campaigns end-to-end, including infrastructure and payloads.
• Operate and tune Command and Control frameworks through initial access, post-exploitation, and lateral movement.
• Develop custom tooling and defence-evasion techniques to emulate threats.
• Turn engagements into clear narratives for engineers and executives, highlighting risk and remediation.
