G2 Legal Limited is partnering with a leading international law firm to hire a Real Estate Associate to join its prestigious Transactional Property team in Manchester. The role emphasizes a dedicated client delivery model, providing a near in-house experience within private practice and regular office attendance in Manchester.
You will handle a mix of asset management, lettings and transactional property work for a major UK client, develop sector expertise, and enjoy improved work-life balance
I am working with a leading International law firm on an opportunity for a Real Estate Associate to join its highly regarded Transactional Property team in Manchester.
This is a slightly different proposition to your typical private practice role, offering the chance to work as a dedicated legal resource for a major UK client within a structured client delivery model - in short, more of a in-house role within a private practice team, working directly with one major client.
Rather than managing a broad spread of unrelated clients, you will work closely with one major client, developing a genuine understanding of their business, property portfolio and wider commercial objectives.
The role will involve a mix of asset management, lettings and transactional property work, giving you the opportunity to build strong client relationships and take ownership of your own caseload.
There is also a real emphasis on work-life balance, with greater certainty around working hours and the flexibility to work primarily from home. Office attendance in Manchester is required at least twice a month, alongside occasional client visits.
Importantly, you will still benefit from the support, resources, training and career development opportunities of a leading UK law firm.
You will be responsible for a varied commercial property caseload, including:
You will be joining a large, highly regarded Transactional Real Estate team in Manchester.
The team is highly ranked and has an excellent reputation for its commercial and business-focused approach to property work. There is also a real appetite for innovation, with significant investment in legal technology and new ways of delivering legal services.
This is a great opportunity for a Real Estate lawyer who enjoys the quality of work and resources that come with a leading firm but would welcome a slightly different approach to private practice.
