Job summary
DFP Services – Powered by Vadella is seeking a Gas, Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our North East team, covering Durham with remote options. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across care homes, NHS buildings, universities and commercial premises, including call-outs on a rota with enhanced overtime payments.

Qualifications
- Gas Safe registration and commercial gas qualifications required.
- CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1 qualifications preferred.
- EU/UK driving licence and basic IT literacy expected.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, response and repair to gas heating and plumbing systems.
- Diagnose faults on boilers, water heaters and related equipment.
- Complete maintenance and PPM paperwork on PDA systems.
- Identify additional works and supply quotes when needed.
- Ensure documentation is accurate and on time; uphold customer expectations.
- Follow health & safety policies and company procedures.
- Participate in training and annual appraisals as required.
