Job summary

Condé Nast’s London team seeks a Commerce Writer to drive GQ Recommends’ style content. You will write and publish daily commerce pieces, from buying guides to product news, with a strong emphasis on visual storytelling through video and social formats.

Reporting to the Commerce Director, you’ll collaborate across editorial, partnerships, SEO, and CRM to hit ambitious revenue targets. A minimum of three years’ writing experience in digital media and familiarity with affiliate programs are

Qualifications

• Three years of writing experience in a digital media environment, with service journalism and product recommendations preferred.
• Familiarity with affiliate platforms and programs (e.g., Skimlinks and Amazon).
• Understanding of web analytics, SEO, and commerce best practices.
• Enthusiasm for style across all shopping categories.
• Ability to produce conversational, publish-ready commerce stories that are accurate and engaging.
• Experience working cross-functionally with editorial, advertising, design, video, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish daily commerce content for GQ Recommends across multiple formats.
• Collaborate with SEO to optimise content for search, newsletters, and social channels.
• Support partnerships and revenue goals by curating content lineups with merchants.
• Work with editorial, audience development, social, and video teams to maintain brand voice.
• Experiment with new formats and multi-modal content to drive engagement and monetisation.
• Contribute to newsletter strategy and growth initiatives.
