Job summary

Trimble is seeking a Front-End React Engineer to replace a legacy desktop app with a modern browser-based UI. You will build production React screens in TypeScript, connect to backend APIs, and ship working software on a weekly demo cycle.

Qualifications

• Experience building production React applications with TypeScript.
• Strong component architecture and clean prop contracts with solid state management.
• Experience with data-heavy UIs: grids, tables, pagination, real-time updates.
• Comfort with REST/OData API integration and wiring frontends to backends.
• Git workflow fluency: trunk-based development, feature branches, clear commit history.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive, accessible React screens using TypeScript, Redux Toolkit, and MUI X DataGrid.
• Integrate frontend interfaces with backend API layers (CloudHub/OData/CHC) to connect real customer SQL workflows.
• Ship working, fully tested software on a weekly demo cycle using Playwright and axe-core.
• Create intuitive user experiences for dispatcher needs, including drag-and-drop planning and real-time map sync.
• Leverage AI tools like Cursor to accelerate development and refine component libraries.
