Job summary

Jobgether, listed on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Python Developer based in the United Kingdom. You will build and maintain reliable, scalable applications focused on payment processing, APIs, and third-party integrations, using FastAPI or Django, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes in a remote-first setup.

You will work across backend and frontend services, apply AI-assisted coding tools, ensure secure data handling, and participate in code reviews and releases.

Qualifications

• At least two years of commercial Python development.
• Experience with Claude Code and OpenAI Codex.
• Proficiency with FastAPI and/or Django.
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming in Python.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend and frontend services with Python.
• Design, build, and maintain REST APIs for payments and third-party integrations.
• Integrate PSPs and manage payment lifecycles.
• Ensure secure processing of payment data.
• Incorporate AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity.
• Deploy and operate services in Kubernetes environments.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Write clean code and automated tests.
• Participate in code reviews and releases.
