Job summary

Suffolk Family Carers is seeking a Part-time Project Lead for our Children and Young People’s Service in Ipswich. The role involves leading service delivery for young carers and managing a team of Young Carer Advisers, with a whole-family approach to improving wellbeing.

You will identify needs, connect families with community support, and establish partnerships with educational settings and external organisations to create respite and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people or family carers is desirable.
• Ability to work in a value-driven, supportive environment.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of services for children and young people with caring responsibilities.
• Support and supervise a team of Young Carer Advisers.
