E3 Recruitment seeks a Principal Fire Safety Engineer for a market-leading engineering consultancy in the UK. This role offers fully remote or flexible hybrid working and a salary up to £100,000 per annum DOE, with a comprehensive benefits package.

You will lead strategic risk management projects, mentor a multidisciplinary team, and guide clients through COMAH, DSEAR, and ISO regulatory requirements while helping grow the risk and compliance function.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead complex risk management projects from inception to completion.
• Strong grasp of hazard analysis techniques and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience advising clients and guiding safety engineering strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver projects across a variety of sectors.
• Facilitate risk assessments such as HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, FMEA.
• Develop COMAH safe reports and perform quantitative risk assessments (QRA, OBRA, ALARP).
• Provide expertise in functional and consequence modelling.
• Drive PS management system development and improvement.

Offering fully remote working or flexible hybrid working. This is a days-based permanent role offering up to £100,000 per annum DOE, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

This role offers a blend of strategic leadership and technical delivery. You will lead complex risk management projects from inception to completion, ensuring high standards, timely execution, and regulatory alignment. Your expertise will guide clients through challenging regulatory frameworks, including COMAH, DSEAR, and ISO requirements.

In addition to project delivery, as a Principal Fire Safety Engineer, you'll mentor and support a multidisciplinary team of engineers and consultants, encouraging continuous development and technical excellence. You will also contribute to the strategic growth of the risk and compliance function, shaping internal practices and strengthening client relationships through trusted advisory support.
